Quote of the Week, 1/12/2011

Because it was over 30 years ago when I heard the following interchange, I can’t say that it is 100% accurate but it is as close as I can remember it. I think you will get the spirit of it anyway.

When Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of the Transcendental Meditation movement was asked if there was a danger that the purity of the knowledge would be lost if he used his recorded voice to train meditation teachers he replied, “Oh yes, the danger is so great we don’t even think about it.”

I love this story and think we should use the same courage and optimism in facing todays many challenges that I believe the Maharishi was using when he gave this response.
